This is just am awesome thing. It doesn’t require to buy the whole soap or splash mentholated. Just get the drops and you can make any soap mentholated. For me works perfect 2-3 drops for little but continuous cooling effect. If you want really cold effect, like strong menthol 6 drops should do it for you. Of course depends how often you will use it, but lasts long time.

This Menthol additive is a great addition to my shave routine. After some help from Rod and experimentation I found the right combination of drops to use with my shave soap and A.S.. started at three drops ended at seven, maybe eight. Also these drops absolutely do not change the scent, like everyone says you must shake it thoroughly to use it. Now I can make any soap or cream with a menthol blast if I want to and the same with the A.S.'s . The 1oz bottle will last me at least 3 months or more as I shave 3 times a week and if I decide to use the drops every time.

I havent added this to a lather yet but put a couple drops on my cheek combined with some aftershave and it was the perfect feel and scent that I was expecting. Outstanding service and shipping as usual from a great company!

I love cold shaves and I don't stop until I am crying.
Before the first use, I shook the bottle really well but, it was still a little stopped up and it squirted out a big glob into my shaving bowl - I didn't know it was a glob of menthol until I was shaving and in some pretty serious pain. After that, I left it in my drawer for several months. Make sure you shake it or even take the lid off and stir it with a toothpick. It isn't very cold now but it is a good product.

My skin doesn't like too much menthol, I sadly cannot use the Glacial releases. But these drops are fantastic. just a drop or two on my loaded brush gives me the perfect amount of cooling on these 100 degree days. Another drop in my hand before applying the splash finishes it off just right. I waited too long to get the Frost Drops, they are my new summer staple!

I personally love this stuff, but I have seen a couple reviews mentioned little to no chill. So I wanted to give a few tips to truly get the most out of the frost drops.

- shake well before using. don't forget this step, it helps a lot!
- If you want a normal menthol feel, I recommend around 4 or 5 solid drops.
- If you want a stronger/glacial feel, I suggest adding 6 or 7 drops.
- add the drops while lathering, it gives me the best feel.

I am a very big fan of my mentholated and glacial shave soaps. During the summer, I want it all the time. I bought these so that I didn't have to buy a bunch of new scents, but instead just add to the ones I already like. Unfortunately I can't detect any chilling effect whatsoever, and I've upped the amount every time I've tried.

Whether you are wanting to add menthol to a non-mentholated soap, like a Barbershop scent, or add it to a soap that already has menthol in it, this stuff really leaves your skin feeling great during and after the shave.

When I was buying Stirling Soap Company products, I found Frost Drops could be useful for cooling shave soap. Therefore, I also added Frost Drops when I bought Sheep Shave Soap and Pre Shave Soap - Mentholated.

As soon as I added two drops of Frost Drops to Sheep Shave Soap, Sheep Shave Soap smelled like Pre Shave Soap - Mentholated and it made my face chill as Frost Drops should be. Overall, like other Stirling products, I really enjoyed this glacial bomb and I'll try to add more drops in the next beard trimming session 😁.

When you need that Menthol cooling but it's not already in the soap or you wish it had more with this you can add it to any soap. This is a great Menthol blast added to your soap, start with a few small drops.

I can't say much in favor besides: any soap can be cooling now. Get 1 bottle and keep it around for days you want to chill your face, you will really enjoy it.

Every aftershave should have a little menthol in it, and this stuff does the trick. Maybe 3-4 drops with your aftershave splash and you're set.

I love this stuff, it's awesome. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE!! However, the cap broke off my bottle. I tried to use Teflon tape on the threads and superglue the cap back together, but every time I try and use it, extra leaks out of the side. Oh well.

Been using Frost Drops pretty regularly for the past couple of weeks, and have really enjoyed my shaves. This has been a wonderful addition to the routine, and you can get things as cool as you like.

I tend to just keep things pleasantly cool with three or four drops on a loaded brush, but have easily got to glacial with six to eight drops. Heck, you could even go higher if you'd rather feel pain than nothing at all, and that, ultimately, is the draw here--Frost Drops lets you do you.

As mentioned in previous posts, the drops don't interfere with the scent of your soaps or splashes, but you should make sure to give the bottle a vigorous shake before using.

Again, if you love menthol, but would like to stay in the driver's seat when using it, look no further... you're home!

Frost drops work flawlessly to add a chill to any soap or aftershave. There's a touch of menthol smell that dissipates quickly and doesn't interfere with the scent of the soap or aftershave. The best part is being able to control how cool I want my shaving products. Fantastic idea and great execution.
