My wife is sensitive to a lot of fragrances, so I got several flavors to try before buying a large bottle. I think they all smell great and my wife was pleased with most of them. I already bought a large bottle of two of the five samples I received. This was a wonderful way to see what I should buy. I can't imagine a better customer service experience than with Stirling.

Amazing scents and makes my skin feel amazing!

Rambling Man and Sharp Dressed Man have a classic smell. Texas on Fire would be good as a candle wax, it lives up to its name, but too strong to wear as an aftershave.

I purchased two sets of these samples with ten different scents. I like eight of the collection. The scents are quite distinctive and long-lasting. The sample bottles are larger than those of sample sets that I have ordered from other companies.

These bottle are great for sampling splashes. Easy pour, I got about 3 pours each. Glad to have this option to try 'cause some of the scents I thought I'd like I didn't. But I found some I did and ordered the full size versions and got a quick deliver. Will be trying more in the future

Bought a tester to see if i liked any. 4/5 were so good im gonna buy the full size. I don’t think you can go wrong with any scent they make… they’re that good.

Hot apple cider was by far my fall favorite… it burns tho, hence the HOT in the name.

Sandlewood actually smelled like a sandlewood tree and not a man made scent…
Coniferous was definitely evergreen and Christmas Eve is my fall-winter fav. Ty A+

The sample packs are an incredible value and a perfect way to dip your toes in scents that may interest you. After my first sample pack order and reading more on the available scents, I've gone back and ordered at least three more sets. Plus, the sizes last a good long while..much better than other shaving/scent purveyors' offerings

Perfect amount for samplers. Well worth the money. My recommendation if you’re looking to try some out would be Deep blue sea, black cherry, and orange chill.

This was my first order from Stirling, and I'm glad I bought the sample pack. I absolutely loved 3 of the 5 aftershave splash scents I chose, so my next order was for the full size bottles of each of those three choices. Great way to try something new if you're not sure about the scent. Love the sensation of Stirling aftershaves!

I hate the packaging waste, but I love being able to try scents without committing to a full size of something I might not like. Here are my notes:

Lemon Chill: pleasant smell but burns my eyes for 15 minutes

Barbershop: old man; reminds me of the 1970s

Piacenza: weird soapy

Gentlemen: burnt rubber (yes, this very specific smell)

Electric Sheep: awesome lemon/lime (strange coincidence because I'm a PKD fan)

I tend to prefer citrus or spicy profiles. I would definitely purchase a full-size Electric Sheep to replace my Proraso after shave.

Mini bottles are really nicely made. Variety of fragrances, nice way to find out what you like and what you don’t.

These samples are the perfect way to try different scents to discover exactly what you are looking for. The problem has been I have enjoyed them so much I now have bought five different full sized bottles. I am kidding about it being a problem, I use different scents on different days.
The samples sizes are great for a travel shave kit. TSA approves size bottles not an issue.

I love having different scents to choose from after each shave and even on days that I don’t shave. Barbershop is my favorite but its close because the other ones smell great too. Even though they are samples, they still have regulators on the tops of the bottles so they can be applied without too much product coming out all at once. That attention to detail is refreshing, see what I did there? i.e. used a double entendre. Excellent service and prices as always from an excellent company!

This is a great way to try different aftershave scents without spending a ton of money. So far I have found several that I enjoyed so much I ordered full sized bottles. I have put several samples in my travel shave kit. I know have so many of the sample bottles I am ordering a 3D printed three tier holder on Etsy.

One of the main aspects that drew me to Stirling over other brands is that I dont have to commit to a full sized bottle of aftershave or tin of soap that I may not like, or worse I may have a negative reaction to.

Of the five I picked I loved four of them! Since this order I ordered the Spring limited edition shave soap and a sample of the aftershave that goes with it . I am enjoying it so much I am ordering a full sized aftershave and bar soap as soon as I finish this review. My third order from Sterling in two weeks. My new absolute favorite products. Shave soap is best I have ever used in decades of shaving.

I got this sampler pack along with a number of other Stirling Soap Company items. This was a great way to get a feel for what the fragrances are all about. So far my favorite is Ozark Mountain. It’s hard to describe a scent in words and so this sampler pack is perfect for trying the products without committing to a full size bottle. Overall I’ve found all the products to be of exceptional quality and the fragrances are world class, the polar opposite of chemical laden, mass produced grooming products. Five stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoy how eclectic the scents are; all very different and distinct from each other. Some are close to the scent of the same names shaving soap, wile others are a bit more subtle. Favorite so far is Stirling Gentleman.

Love the ability to try different scents. And it the scent is not to your liking you are not stuck with a big bottle you will never use.

I bought 15 sample aftershaves for scent, a few beard balms, and oils. My ratings:

NOTE: ALL AFTERSHAVE splashes do not last long. They smell nice, but not longer than an hour or two, max.

Beard balms last much longer (a work day)

Sharp dressed man - 9.5/10 - a classic everyday scent
Barbershop - 9/10 - classic scent
Rambling man - 8.5/10 - took a few applications to appreciate it but it smells nice
Mountain man - 7/10 - it smells nice after a few hours in the beard but may buy again at some point in future
Piancenza - 7/10 - it’s a hit or miss for me. The aftershave is better than the beard balm in the same scent - a bit citrusy (reminds me of capri in Italy)
Executive man - 10/10 - phenomenal scent - a tad sweet on the nose
Deep Blue Sea - 10/10 - probably tied with D-503 for my favorite scent - very close to Chanel de Bleu
D-503 - 10/10 - I wear this one as a beard balm almost every day
Christmas Eve - 1/10 - in my humble opinion, this should be a discontinued scent. I tried it a few times as a aftershave splash and I threw it out.
Margaritas in the arctic - 7.5/10 (summer scent) - very candy-like
Arkadia - 2/10 (but got compliments) - earthy smell. Not a fan - will probably throw out
Haverford - 3.5/10 - very old man leathery
Mountain man - 7.5/10 - another nice beard balm scent for me - not that poignant/offensive to the nose when on mustache
Sandalpiper - 8.5/10 - not a typical sandalwood scent but nice nevertheless (prefer as post shave balm)
Unscented - 10/10- it’s actually unscented so does the job (use as beard oil)
