I used this yesterday and put on twelve drops after shaving. I got a power smell that Iike and it's not overpowering.

I bought the soap and aftershave after reading reviews and thought to myself aw give it a try. When I first smelled the soap and aftershave, I thought to feminine. I asked my daughter and she said it's ok. I shaved with the soap today and I thought to myself, not bad , not as feminine as I thought it would be. I thought it was going to have a strong projection, but to my surprise it didn't. I used the matching aftershave and I thought ok here comes the feminine, than after having it on for a little while I got a nice subtle warm fragrance that was comfortable and not loud. I thought to myself ok I can wear this. My daughter said she likes it. I do too.

So this one took me by surprise big time...When I watched some reviews, and read the scent profile it seemed to be a good match for what I was looking for. I wanted something that wasn't super, super strong that was more casual. Sometimes after a shave I don't wanna walk around stinking of fragrance, and just want a nice clean smell to compliment my shave. This is just that, but so much more. When I made my wife give me the whiff test (I do this with all my shave scents) she said, "Woah!" "That smells amazing!" I was not expecting such a reaction just because while this does smell incredible, I feel like it's very subtle. It's not really in your face, but is more subdued if that makes sense. According to the wife though this is her favorite scent of all my collection.

As for what it smells like to me...It just has a "fresh" smell if that makes sense. I get the fresh linens reference, but don't let that make you think this is some bath and body "fresh linen" smell or something. This is very sophisticated, clean, and, uplifting. Honestly, I don't think anyone could go wrong adding this to their collection. It's just that nice, and versatile.

This one surprised me. This is a beautiful bright and clean like a fresh laundry smell , with the superb Stirling quality. I have Versace The Dreamer and this one is similar without the cherry /tobacco opening but to me the mid and dry down is similar. A very good after shave if you want something really clean and safe.

Just like the soap review, I like the scent. It didn’t burn my skin.

I thought it was going to be similar to the scent: “By Kilian Straight to Heaven.” But the scent in this is pleaseht. I love it.
