Quality of soap is always awesome with Stirling. This fragrance was underwhelming to me. It's there, but hardly, and definitely no staying power.

This one is so comforting and relaxing. The sandalwood is peace giving. Clean and calming.

This Vanilla Sandalwood soap just came up in my rotation and is another excellent soap that lathers great, smells awesome and gets the job done, and then some. What do I mean by ‘and then some’, you may ask? Well let me tell you, prior to using the bath soaps from Stirling Soap, I wouldn't shower very often, sometimes for weeks at a time. It got so bad that I was on the verge of being kicked out of my own house and no one wanted to get near me, NO ONE! Now, since I started using Stirling Soap bath soaps exclusively, everyone I know and new people that I meet, especially extremely attractive women, are constantly and consistently trying to get as close to me as possible. I get asked to go out on dates all the time now, especially right after taking a shower using a bar of Stirling Soap!. I look forward to taking showers now and it definitely adds to the quality of my shaves. At first, after deciding I could stay around for a while longer, my wife wasn't happy about all the new attention I was getting but because I smelled so awesome and promised her that she was my one and only, she continues to put up with me. Great soap, excellent service, fast shipping, as usual.

Stirling is exceptional. This is a high quality tallow based soap. The number of delightful scents is abundant, perhaps more than any other artisan. The variety of product is wonderful too. I love reading the Stirling reviews. It's interesting how everyone smells something a little different in each scent. I prefer the more musky powdery scents over the sweet floral scents. Vanilla sandalwood fits in that category for me. It's a light soft scent that smells wonderful in the shower. I have used other Stirling soaps and love them, but this one surprised me on first use. It lathered up so rich and creamy. My skin feels very soft after using it.
Duchess is still my favorite but this one will definitely be in my rotation..

I like the scent. The aftershave I got had a stronger vanilla scent to it, not sure if that's variation between the different product types or batches. Either way, enjoyed both a lot.

Best soap you can get frm sterling

This scent is one of my husband's favorite. It's got complexity and isn't "sweet" the way vanilla can sometimes be. I don't usually go for vanilla scents but this is totally different. Highly recommend!

I ordered this at the request of my wife, and it smelled delightful. We haven’t used it yet, but if it smells half as good when used we will be delighted. Even my daughter said smells great! I’ve tried the sandalwood shave soap, but now wish I had ordered this instead.

My first Stirling purchase, and I am sold. Amazing scent that really lingers on the skin (which is a big selling point for me.) Love the way it makes my skin feel. Really big bar and quite a bargain for five bucks.

I love Sterling soap, and this review is strictly based upon scent. I love how this soap performs. Lathers great, and leaves my skin feeling super nice. This scent though is so weird. Almost had a chocolate type scent...Very peculiar being that it’s vanilla? The sandlewood must somehow play strangely with vanilla. I’m not a fragrance expert by no means. You may like it, so don’t let this review disway you. I’m leaving this review strictly because I didn’t like it at all and you may fall into this category. Every other soap scent I got though I loved...this is the only one I’m not a fan of thus far!

This is one of my favorite Stirling scents. I grab one bar pretty much on every order. Scent is strong which I love and lathers great like all Stirling soaps. Smells the entire bathroom up, the sandalwood is great but add the vanilla and WOW! The aftershave splash is great too, it really complements a morning shower after a nice shave. Can’t go wrong with this one. Try it once and you will order again! Wife loves this scent also. Very sweet fragrance but manly all in one bar!

Just enough fragrance, I use these in my t-shirt drawer, nestling it among the wind shirts and cycling tops to keep the drawer fresh smelling. Putting on the t-shirt with this aromatics helps to set the physical tone for the day. Thanks.

The soap lathers and moisturizes like I have come to expect with Stirling, but the scent is not my favorite. My wife really likes it but I don't get any sandalwood from the scent. It smells very just like their plain vanilla.

Lathers up great and smells nice & clean

I have used Dove men's moisturizing body wash for years because that's the best I could find for a body wash at the price. I started getting into wet straight razor shaving and read nothing but good about Stirling shave soap. So I figured at this price why not try a bar also with my order... This changed everything. The scent starts with fresh vanilla bean and finishes with the sandalwood. The pairing of this is perfect. So many companies try this and fail but stirling hit a home run. The scent lasts after the wash but is minimal, which is how I like it. And now how the soap washes. When you start lathering this on your skin you really notice how smooth the soap is. It is slick but you really feel it taking anything unwanted off of your skin. I work in a manufacturing facility and most soaps don't lift the dirt and grime away from your skin so as you continue to lather you feel everything against your skin. Not with this soap. This soap lifts everything away from your skin so it feels like a slick body butter lotion for the remainder of the wash. Afterward your skin feels soft and nourished ready for what's next. I'm still working on my first bar and have already ordered 2 more. I highly recommend this soap.

Mixing sandalwood with vanilla is by far the best idea since slides bread. There is something about these soaps that when you use one the scent tends to stay with you through out the day I've actually stopped wearing cologne. I don't know how they formulate it but what ever you're doing keep it up.

A very nice smell, but it's not super strong. I got a sample of Ben Franklin soap, and in comparison the Ben Franklin soap is much stronger, and I guess I prefer that.

If you love the smell of vanilla, this is a great soap to try. This isn't overly sweet like some vanilla products tend to be, it is more mild, but still amazing, and because it is a Stirling soap it is of course awesome and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry.

The scent of this soap is amazing. I shower in the morning prior to eating breakfast. There have been a few occasions that I was overly hungry while showering and had an almost irresistible urge to bight the bar of soap. Try it, you will love it!

The vanilla and sandlewood combination is really a great scent. This soap lathers nicely and leaves my skin clean. One bar lasts me about 2 weeks.
