Witch hazel has an inherent smokey scent, which will sometimes intrude on various scented blends, changing them. But here with the smokey Texas on Fire scent, the witch hazel has really met its match! Not for the faint of heart though, as the Texas on Fire line is for those with a special taste. I think this and the Texas on Fire shaving soap are a nice one-two combination. Just make sure your friends are fine with you walking around with it as the scent does linger.

I can’t stress how great the Stirling products are, this scent is just not for me.

I love the face feel of the Stirling Witch Hazel/Aloe. This is the first one I have bought. Its very soothing on the face and will definitely but more but not this scent.

If you love that smoke scent then you will love it. It's like putting your head over a smoky campfire which to me isn't my thing. The scent is stupid strong. Couldn't bear that scent to keep using it.

This is a very strong scent, and I couldn't get past the scent to use it. Stirling makes great products, this one wasn't for me.

The best soothing face conditioner I have ever used. Lived in Oklahoma for over 60 years. Made many a trip to the Lonestar state. Witnessed and smelled many a fire. This is it. TEXAS ON FIRE. A one of a kind smell. None like it anywhere. VERY UNIQUE!!

Smells exactly like the soap. Don't buy this if you can't handle some awesomeness, as this isn't for everyone or the weak of heart. There's more than just smoke here, hints of leather and wood come through as well.

I ordered a total of seven Stirling sample products and to be fair, I didn’t care of the smell of Texas on fire witch hazel. It has a very strong odor that mimics the smell of gun powder and leather. For some, this may sound pleasant. A fragrance is a very personal and everyone is different . This smell just didn’t work for me personally. However, the Glacial Wintergreen Witch Hazel & Aloe was excellent.

There's nothing more I can say about the witch hazel formula that hasn't been said before. It's awesome, soothing, and works great.

The only reason I took one star is for the scent. If you're looking for an incredibly smokey, bonfire, wildfire scent, this is the one for you. I still like it, but have to pad it with something else since it's too smokey for me.

Careful with this one, it really does smell like you've been out in the woods. Either sitting next to a campfire or fighting a forest fire!

This smells great but you have to be prepared for the smell to stay. This goes great with jeans and a flannel shirt, a laid back working man sent. I use it if I'm just casually shaving and need something to finish with. the color is a bit yellow so make sure your not wearing a nice white shirt.
