I've tried the smaller sample size and decide to get full bottle. Like it really is a great scent that works well with my body chemistry. But I have to reapply every 4 to 5 hours. Which is fine because I do one or two sprays on my chest and in my hair. That's like the perfect amount. I Really appreciate the bottle and how tight the cap stays on. I am confident in carrying this in my pocket to reapply when needed. But I also have the smaller sample that I'll use untill it runs out when out and about.

I absolutly loved the original version, was my favorite scent. This new one while good, just doesnt hit the same way for me. I know its out of the companies hands to get it again but its still disappointing. I will continue buying thier products because they make a great one.

The Christmas Eve scent is all I wear from the end of November until the end of January. I own the shave soap, splash, lotion, and cologne…love them all.

Don’t be worried about the new fragrance house, it’s the same great scent as always. Sharp Dressed Man is one of my favorite scents. I have the shave soap, splash, lotion, and cologne.

I really enjoy the scent on this one and I alternate with Executive Man as my go to's. I did get a bunch of samples so working through them. Everything is great here!

I was really, really hoping for a duplicate scent of the aftershave splash, which is one of my favorite scents ever. The creamy, barbershopish layer of the splash disappears and is replaced by what seems to be a heavier tobacco note. There is still the subtler layers of citrus and green, but (especially initially) they are pushed far to the back.
The result is by no means awful, just heavier on the "tweed" element. I still enjoy the scent and have no problem wearing SDM edt, it just isn't exactly what I had hoped for.
I did order a few more splashes to try, so I'm by no means turned off by this. I'm a big fan of Stirling so far.

I am a fan of the SDM scent. This EDT has the great smell, but it doesn't last long, at least not on my skin. I like that it's not a really strong "projecting" scent, but is more subtle. I just wished it lasted a little longer. I still like it, and the family of SDM scented products well enough that I will purchase this again though.

I have the shave soap, aftershave splash, bar soap and this EDT spray and they all smell identical to my nose, or as close as you can get in those different applications. I waited until about 5 full wearings of this EDT because I have an extensive collection and experience with the inspired by fragrance as well as many clones and here's my 2 cents worth...
Yes you can get this scent cheaper or much MUCH more expensive, depending on your taste. For me this checks all the boxes mainly because I can enjoy the whole line of this fragrance with countless products to choose from and can be done all on the Stirling Soap website!
The EDT smells amazing and performance is what you would expect with the scent characteristic to be very close to what its' inspired by. That said...well done!!! I've been very pleased by these products and the price point! Very natural scent profile and has very good performance.

I fell in love with the SDM shave soap and wanted the same smell in the EDT. Unfortunately, they don't really match. The top sweet notes are there, but the soap as a clean and gentle base smell while the EDT has the normal heavy stock fragrance smell.

I cannot say enough good about this smell. To me it smells like irish spring soap but without the soapiness (sounds weird I know, but that's the best way I can describe it) . It's a very clean, fresh and sharp smell. It's subtle enough of a smell that nobody will find it offensive or pungent but crisp enough to make you stand out just enough from the everyday hum drum smells. I give this my highest endorsement.

Stirling did a good job on this EDT. It smells just like the shave soap and aftershave. Also I tink this smells exactly like creeds green irish tweed.
