...it lasted longer. It's an EDT so it's expected that it might not linger all day, but it dissipates within half an hour. Buy a sample size to see if you like it, and then use it as a portable applicator since you'll need to reapply this one through the day. The solid lasts longer and smells better but this one still smells fantastic so it's still a 3/5.

There's something that smells better about the solid version of Sandpiper that smells better than the EDT. Not sure how to describe the difference but I believe it's because there's no aerosolized alcohol. It also seems to linger longer, which is great. The only thing I would prefer is if it were a bit softer, because as it is I must rub my finger tips into it quite a bit to massage up enough of an oil to apply--the directions to merely "swipe" your finger across it won't do.

Of all my beloved Stirling scents, this is hands down the best...very masculine but classy, sweet but not cloying or powdery or flowery or gourmand. A crowd pleaser. And on top of all that, it is my longest lasting Stirling scent....just today I put it on at 5:30 am and at 9:25 pm it's still swirling around me.

I really like the fragrance of Sandpiper. I do wish that your fragrances lasted longer though. I have many favorites but just wish they lasted longer and that you offered deodorants as well for a whole experience.

I want this scent in my nostrils, eternally. It is heaven. Got it in a sample a few years ago and knew I’d get a full bottle at some point. Unforgettable.

Sandpiper smelled very different from how I imagined it from the description. First off I really really like this scent. I was impressed with ramblin Man and Sharp dressed gentleman and even though the scents are all different this is the one I go back to and keep smelling over and over. It's more a cologne like smell with a sophistication about it and sort of a powdery back end. If you're not sure I would definitely suggest a sample that's how I found it. Instant favorite.

Lasts more than a couple hours for me. A scent that reminds me of past visits to lake shore and ocean beaches. Strong contender for my daily during the warmer months.

Smell is an amazing sense. This sent reminds me of being on my sailboat and dropping anchor in a small cove with a sandy beach.

Love it! Can't say I'm the best at isolating notes, but the combo of the top notes together with the cedar is great. Only downside is the being an EDT, it doesn't really last through more than half a day. But given that it's an EDT instead of EDP you can't knock it for that.

Sandpiper is by far my favorite Stirling scent. I love the shave soap as well as the cologne. It’s a little sweet but then there’s immediately something deeper that I can’t quite place. It’s not very in your face, so it can be worn for any sort of occasion. Rod and Mandy absolutely killed it with Sandpiper.

this scent is in a close second place tie with haverford. I have the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and wax melt for this, and now the spray cologne. Its good, so very good, I love it!!

good love the scent, unfortunately it doesn't last as long as I like. Sure wish y'all could make it in a Eau De parfum.

A while back, I got this as a sample bar and since I already had my bar of haverford, I used the bar as hand soap. Long story short, I’m going to buy the cologne and the full-sized bar. I believe this will be my signature scent for a long time, thanks Stirling!

Wife loves it, workmates have asked about it because they liked it, and most of all, I like it. It makes me feel better about myself.

This is what you grab and spray on when your wife or girlfriend tells you she wants to go to a nice restaurant, hang out at the bar for a couple pre-meal drinks, then sit down to a nice dinner. This scent makes me feel like I have a masculine chisel-chin, but I of course don’t…anymore. If you like manly scents, buy this one. Can’t go wrong with the price! I love it his company!

I will make this short and sweet, simply amazing!!! If I had to choose one scent for the rest of my life it would be this! From the cardamom to the vetiver/caraway base it’s intoxicating thank you Rod and Mandy

This stuff is really good. Some may find it slightly cloying but not me. This is what I want to smell like.

On a recent order, SSC threw a Sandpiper soap sample in with the other products. My initial thought was, "well that smells pleasant, but isn't me," but my wife enthusiastically noted how nice she thought it smelled. My 7yo son stuck his nose against the soap, inhaled deeply, and echoed his mom's thoughts on it. I subsequently got on a little frag kick and decided to buy the Sandpiper EDT since it comes from a popular pedigree and I knew my wife likes it. The soap sample was long gone when my new order arrived and my new EDT smelled a bit more muted than I remembered the soap smelling. The next morning I showered, gave myself 2 sprays to the chest and neck area, got dressed for work, and headed out. My wearing impression was much better than the initial smell, lasting about 6 hours before fading, I found (and find) myself pleased each time I catch a whiff of the slightly sweet, spicy, cedar and caraway that Sandpiper gives off while I am wearing it. This stuff smells amazing, the notes not doing it justice, and is a great deal! I haven't smelled YSL LNDlH to compare, but Sandpiper stands on its own as a very wonderful fragrance.

Arrived today, didn't take long at all. Smells great and lasts a while; even got a little hand written note and a bar of soap. Definitely gonna be shopping here a lot more!
