Date night shave soap.!! Smells great and lasts long.

After I got this, I just didn't understand many of the reviews here. It's true, scents can be complex and subjective, but still. I *can* tell you that no matter what scents you detect, this fragrance will work in so many social settings - board room, office, date night, church - and I'm not saying it simply "won't be the wrong choice" in those settings; this is versatile, it will be the RIGHT choice in those settings. The closest scent notes I can give you are "sweet, a little spice, powder, expensive leather jacket." This is a home run fragrance. And, of course, it has the standard, legendary Stirling performance.

Okay smell. Soap works great

I like this a lot. When I first opened the tub, I immediately picked up a very earthy scent, and thought I wouldn't like it at all, but once I bloomed it with water and whipping it into a lather, it release a variety of scents, spices and undertones, but I still don't pick up any leather scent.. Still, a very nice note and wonderful overall shave.

I initially purchased a Sample puck of the Oro Valley Shave Soap. It has a great scent, and provides a smooth, slick lather for getting a great shave. Because I liked the Sample so much, I purchased a full size jar of the Oro Valley Shave Soap, along with the Aftershave and Post Shave Balm. Highly recommended!

I know that different isn't the best lead in to a review. But this scent is in fact different. Very clean and masculine. Smells as if Texas and Montana made out and had a love child. Again, not very descriptive, but I do enjoy this scent.

This scent is fantastic in my opinion. It has this clean scent of leather and I feel like I'm on the set of a western. Very manly,clean. I dig this a Lot!

Stirling creates some masterpieces and this scent takes me on a journey. It has this country sorta vibe to it. Hard to put into words,but it's like being in the old west and smelling great. Lol. Just unique. I enjoy this a lot. It's not just about the scents with stirling...it's about The experience and each time you lather up,it's going to be a relaxing experience that ends with a great shave.

I found this to be close to a bottle of Cremo Vintage Suede I already owned (although Stirling bath soap is better quality). The scent is a sweet Leather, it's masculine but not the type where you imagine walking into a leather shop. It is close to TF Ombre Leather but with Stirling's own take. Really beautiful. I have tried a lot of their products and I love this one for a "bedtime scent".

I hope Stirling has a long-term business plan because they have the best value on the market: quality, price, and customer service can't be beat!

Same great Stirling quality but, the fragrance is not for me. I didn't find the claimed leather note or, believed it would be a different leather than this one. In fact, it didn't really fit any description of this I read. Just HIT the wrong way for me. Don't think I'd even like the original Tom Ford one, after this. For a darker, richer, heavier frag, I prefer Haverford, which I love. Three stars for the shave, though... always great.

It lathers wonderfully and smells amazing!

I've really enjoyed this soap. The scent of leather jumps out at me, a great man;ly scent. Makes me think I am somewhere between Texas and California. Then there is the wonderful feel of a Stirling shave-the smooth glide of the razor across the face and neck, the amount of soap that comes onto the brush to provide the setup for the razor's work. I will purchase this one again when the time comes. Thank you, Stirling!!

All the things we come to expect with Stirling are constants! Lathering, slickness, scent. No change with Oro Valley! Very pleasantly scented and a perfect Segway for the fall season approaching

This has got to be one of the greatest shave soap scent reminds me of Clint Eastwood The Good The Bad And The Ugly or camping in big bend Texas when the sun is about to go down and you see the beautiful red Texas sky and you lay your head on your new saddle

I collect colognes and If I see a shave soap that can mimic one of my colognes I try it. This is really a very very close match for Tom Ford's Ombre Leather. I love it. Stirling knows the sh...stuff.

WOW, ORO Valley has all the right stuff; great scent, aroma, easy to make lather, tons of cushioning, and my razor glides smoothly while shaving. Add to this lots of moisturizing protection and this scent is just what I was looking for. I bought the matching aftershave, and the scent easily lasts all day.
