I have used this scent for years. The menthol makes this an awesome experience. Love this especially during the summer for a very refreshing shave. Leaves my face smooth and soft

My favorite scent- great shaving feel and smooth, hydrated skin. Love most of the menthol products. I won’t shave with anything but Stirling Shave soap.👍🏼

This Shave Soap is so much better then my old Shave Soap that I had which left my skin feeling dry and flaky this one however shines and it was my first time using this Shave Soap Brand I seen the brand and a YT video by SinatraLennon and he spoke so fondly of Stirling Soap Company saying that the scents they come out with are amazing and recommend people should give it a try so I pulled the trigger and bought 2 different scents another brush a shave bowl and another safety razor by far I love how Frozen Tundra Smells and I can’t wait to try the Christmas Eve shave Soap I will be definitely getting my shave soap from this company again it was well worth the price this is a excellent premium quality Shave Soap

I've never been in the far reaches of the frozen Tundra but I have spent a considerable amount of time in the forests of East Texas and this scent captures that earthy smell right on point.
However, it doesn't quite give you that frozen blast of air you'd expect after a Canadian cold front just came roaring through which is why I'm glad I ordered the Frost Drops to give it that extra kick.
It lathers nice and is quite slick which is a definite plus.
I'd order it again.

Great shaving soap,love the menthol in this one, has a great feeling, consistent and very slick, sterling has changed my whole shaving experience, the menthol not strong enough to burn eyes, but it let's u no its there, the biggest issue is figuring out what scent I want to use, currently have 17 tubs!!!!

Since I purchased my new Yates 921 razor with the EH Plate I’ve been wanting to try a quality artisan soap. Being that I am a Proraso Green user I thought I’d give Frozen Tundra a try from Stirling to stay with the Menthol feel. I made a great choice!! The soap felt great on my face and head. I recently switched to voskhod blades and for a moment I wondered if I forgot to put the blade in the razor. I can’t wait to try more Stirling soaps in the future. Maybe even a pre shave soap as well.

The handwritten note on the receipt was a wonderful touch as well as a free bar soap sample of sharp dressed man that I’m anxious to try. Wonderful company!! Wonderful products!!

Ok I have had one shave with this and I already know this is going to be my go to for the next 30 years. The invoice had a hand written note on it, which is an awesome touch.

Lathered up nicely with a brush and was nice and slick. The smell is great and my face literally felt like there was a cold breeze on it for the next half hour. I’m in love.

I'm a woman using this soap on my legs, so the minty feeling is mostly lost on me. However, it really does smell like minty earth. There is something else buried among the freshness, but my nose is clueless.
It smells nice and it works good, but I guess I want more depth in my soaps. This scent also doesn't seem to last as long as others of Stirling's that I've tried.

Well Frozen Tundra will give you that experience ! This is hands down my go to shave soap. I have several in rotation but this is the one I use the morning after a night of drinking and cigar smoking. It will shake the cobwebs, dust, whatever else is lingering from the night before right out of your face. Followed up with the Unscented w/Menthol Shave Balm and my whole aura sparkles. And it WILL wake you up like swimming in the ocean in Maine before Memorial Day !

Having tried the Margaritas in the Arctic--Glacial soap, I wanted to see how this soap performed. The Frozen Tundra soap has excellent slickness and leaves a great, cool and refreshing feeling after Shaving.

This shave soap is outstanding. Brush on a generous amount of lather. The razor glides through smooth as silk. Rinse off and a sea breeze feels awesome blowing against my cheeks. First experience with Stirling. I'm back to buy the unscented glacial shave balm they gave me as free sample. New customer for life.

I've used it once and am a bit overwhelmed with the cooling menthol. I'll use it more in hot weather. I liked it but the situation needs to be right for me.

My go to Stirling shave soap. If I had to keep only one, it would be Frozen Tundra. Nice and cold with a minty/earthy/awesome scent.

The soap is great, but the scent is way off. I really expected a mossy/earthy scent based on the description. The smell is very minty - maybe there's too much menthol I don't know.

However! I'm really glad Stirling offers samples because I consider it $3 well spent to find out I didn't like the scent.

Love Stirling soaps and this lathers great and is very slick. The scent though smells like grizzly Wintergreen or something (menthol dip tobacco). Other people seem to like it alot and I'm glad Stirling is getting the business because their soaps are second to none. Just not the scent for me but there's no harm done cause I only got a sample puck.

Cool refreshing. With mint and menthol. It's just a great scent. I wish they had a balm to match.the smell is great.it shaves excellent. Stirling is the best. Lifetime customer.i tied all ends with every other shave soap except Stirling shave soap company.

As a proud Detroit fan, I was tempted not to use this soap 😁 (we don't get too many touchdowns on Lambeau Field). However, I put my football prejudice aside and gave it a shot. Wow, it is good enough to become a Packer fan. Nice cooling feel on my face. Good cushion. Nice and slick. Scent is pleasing and earthy.

Ok, I am sitting here after shaving and I swear my face is 50 degrees below the 112 it is in Kansas right now.

It feels like when I was walking my wiener dog in December and my girlfriend drove up in her BMW, slammed on the brakes and made me fall in a bank of snow that had rubber and star of anise pressed into it.

This is the most wonderful intoxicating scent. My female LOVES it. It does smell like frozen earth but I smell rubber and star of anise. Fine with me. Whatever it takes....right!

Love this soap! Its the feeling of your face being held down in a Minnesotan frozen fishing lake in -23 degree weather. It exemplifies the true meaning of a close and cool shave. Love the way my skin feels after and the lingering coolness. Makes the shave very enjoyable!

I'm sold on Stirling b/c of the price to performance ratio. Purchased a bunch of sample pucks and this was one. I've never had a menthol soap before - this one leaves my face feeling nice and cool during and after the shave. Not too cold, just right. The scent reminds me of a doctors office- very antiseptic like wintergreen Listerine. The description is a bit misleading, but as consumers we need to understand it is often difficult to describe odors and scents. I was expecting more earthy/grassy/ scent. Overall the scent isn't offensive, but not my favorite. Great soap otherwise regarding creaminess, slickness, ease of lather etc.

Strong menthol feel! Exactly what I was looking for!

Even in hard water, this soap explodes with rich, slick lather for a close, comfortable shave and soft, smooth post-shave skin. To my nose, the fragrance is less earthy and more medicinal, but still so soothing and pleasant that it could aromatherapy. If I had to choose just one shave soap to use for the rest of my life, Frozen Tundra might be it.

The later is exceptional as all stirling soaps that I have tried are.

I didn't find a very strong scent to this soap.

Also, the menthol level of this soap was weak. Keep in mind that I use Stirlings Glacial Lemon Chill as my reference for mentholated soaps and Stirling's glacial lemon chill is on my very short lists of favorites.

I had been eyeballing this soap for a long time- was a bit "iffy" on whether or not it would be too piney-smelling for my tastes. After shaving with a sample last night I can say I wish I hadn't waited so long! The scent is not overwhelming & the menthol level is super cool and comfortable. It's not an easy scent to describe- but it truly is like walking through the forest in winter- I will absolutely purchase this soap again- and would recommend it highly. And, of course, the quality of lather and post-shave feel is simply outstanding as you would expect from Stirling. Well done!

I've had some menthol that could make you cry and smell so medicinal, horrible!!
Also it lathers like whip cream it's stirling of course!!

I bought this soap two years ago and I loved it then. Guess what, I love it a hundred times more now. This is an updated formulation which smells pretty well the same - a blend of peppermint, wintergreen, earthy notes and of course, menthol. My first Frozen Tundra was a refill puck which seemed slightly, just slightly tougher to lather but since the formulation was changed this soap has become one of the easiest and richest latherers I've ever seen in my life. It's also to me anyway, the second coldest Stirling soap after the Glacials. In other words, don't underestimate this soap's menthol power because it's capable of freezing a man's face off. Rod & Mandy don't sell anything but the best and ONLY the best!

This soap is slick and protective. The scent is like a mixture of peppermint and wintergreen and the menthol adds a great invigorating feeling to your face.
