Loads up well on the brush and is easy to whip.
The leather is nice and thick.
The soap diameter fits my apothecary style ceramic shave mug.
The scent is light, nobody but me notices it.

Scent: I grabbed a sample puck as part of an order expecting a fresh, calming scent typical of other eucalyptus mint products. I was wrong. This uses PEPPERmint rather than the SPEARmint I’m used to. It’s my fault for not reading the description closely enough, but that entirely changes the nature of the scent. Rather than soothing, this is very bright. It’s a great part of a morning routine and the smell isn’t bad, but it’s not what I wanted. Additionally, the product page states there’s no menthol; maybe there’s no additional menthol added, but there’s definitely some there. The cooling sensation can be nice, but it’s not something I’d want all the time (they make menthol drops for those special occasions) and leaves my skin kind of numb. Not fun when trying new gear.

Soap: Stirling shaving soaps provide excellent lather, cushion, and glide as well as a superb value. I especially like that my skin is still slick even where the lather is gone, leaving me with protection even when my technique is less than optimal. Their shave soap is now my go-to; I have no notes for Stirling on the base product.

Does get a bit of a filmy/oil texture on my razor (but it is very easy to wash off)

This scent strikes a really good balance. Not overpowering but still very fragrant. Unlike the Spearmint (which can be fun with how cold it feels in the summer, but is a bit too bracing for the winter), this gives a perfect subtle cooling sensation, while still having a complex and robust scent. My daughter smelled my face after and declared, "daddy smells like a tasty pie!" I don't know what pie smells like this mint combo, but I will take it.

I like trying the 1oz samples, but this will be the first full puck I purchase. It's cooling and menthol feeling without the menthol. Tingling effect. A scent I only wish was even stronger so it would linger even more. Great performance as always. This and Bay Rum are my favorites.

Invigorating scent on this fine performing shave soap. It will wake you up in the morning. Smells great!

I bought this soap nearly 10 years ago and have been buying it ever since. I never have issues with irritation. The fragrance isn't overwhelming. Very smooth shave.

In the month I have used the Eucalyptus mint shaving soap I have been very please with. It’s the best I have ever used and I have been shaving for 65 years. Bath soap is awesome. Makes me smell like a fresh cut Christmas tree. 😂

Just finished a 1oz puck of this and the scent is terrific, plus the unbeatable shave and quality of Stirling shave soap,will definitely get more in larger quantities.

I used Proraso before trying Stirling, and it's night and day. I got Eucalyptus Mint because I love this scent. To say the least, I had the greatest shave of my life on my first use of it; I use a Rockwell 6s and Feather Blades and have sensitive skin. I experienced no drag, and it glided perfectly. The feel and scent of this soap is immaculate. It lathered well, too, and I use a Trafalgar 3 (synthetic) brush. I received the closest shave I have ever had, no nicks, cuts, weepers, or anything. I will be exclusively shopping here for my soaps and whatnot. I can't wait to try more!

My skin doesn't like menthol, but the cooling provided by the mint in this soap is perfect. This is so refreshing on a hot summer day. The scent is fresh and clean. I'm sorry I waited so long to try this, it will be a summer go to for sure.

New wet shaver and was using a shave soap that I didn’t like so I decided to try Stirling and it made an incredible difference. Was able to get a perfect lather the very first use and it smelled and felt amazing. The delivery came with a sample of bath soap and a handwritten note. I’m obsessed with Proraso Green Aftershave splash. This Eucalyptis Mint Soap pairs better with Proraso Green Aftershave than Proraso’s own Green Shave Soap. Much better lather and feel when shaving.

I bought this because the name reminded me of proraso green (my first shave cream that wasn't foam) and I am so glad I did! It has a nice peppermint scent that blends with the eucalyptus perfectly. My favorite part is the natural chill it brings. Unlike other soaps that contain menthol, this one has none but provides a subtle, natural chill I am obsessed with. Do yourself a favor and buy this one, thank me later!

I got this as sample with another order. I was pleasantly surprised because eucalyptus is usually to much for me in a shaving soap. I like this combination though. This soap has a pleasant nice cooling to and it shaves well also.

Let's be honest, we read the reviews (at least I do) for one, how does it smell and for two, how does it work? Number one, and your mileage may vary, it smells to me exactly like Doublemint gum with a pop of brightness in it from the eucalyptus. So much so, the wife asked when did I start chewing gum? Which I replied, "I didn't. I just shaved." So there's that. And number two, amazing lather and performance as always.

I really don't like the sensation of mentholated soaps, which is a real bummer because there are so many of the Glacial line that I want (licorice!) But this is a great compromise. The minty tingle is nice and refreshing without the icy burn I get from menthol. Great pick me up up on a hot early morning for sure.

I picked this as one of my samples in the budget starter kit, and I'm glad I did. I live in an area with hot, chaotic weather and high pollen. This soap makes for a great way to start the day. It's very refreshing, soothing, and mildly cooling. I'll definitely be keeping this on hand.

After several soothing shaves with Eucalyptus Mint shave soap and the accompanying aftershave, Ive determined that since Koala bears eat eucalyptus leaves that this remarkably refreshing combination smells that of a koala bear's fresh breath and peppermint schnapps.

I think if you like Proraso, but want a natural, better performing product, this could be for you. The Eucalyptus and mint is bright, invigorating...perks up the senses in the morning. It has that green, refreshing scent tone of something like Proraso, only without all the menthol cooling (which I personally hate but many like). The smell is very intense in the tub....almost too much, but I find that as you lather up that calms and it just an invigorating and subtle scent during the shave. Great stuff.
