Scent Description: Thanks to the generosity of the owners of Strop Shoppe, we are proud to be able to resurrect this iconic scent.  A fresh and masculine blend of Juniper, Bergamot, Jasmine, Patchouli.

Ingredients: Aqua (Distilled Water), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Left Juice, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol & Polysorbate 60 (Emulsifying Wax), Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, (Vegetable) Glycerin, Myristyl Myristate (Co-Emulsifier), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Phenoxyethanol & Caprylyl Glycol & Sorbic Acid (Optiphen Plus), Parfum (Fragrance), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Stearic Acid, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Allantoin, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil.

NOTE: Due to the ingredient Allantoin, this product may exhibit white specks.  This does not affect the performance of the balm and the white specks are fully absorbed when applied to the skin. Allantoin is an additive that helps heal wounds and stimulates the growth of healthy skin tissue.

Bottle Size: 4.0oz

Post-shave balm praised for moisturizing and soothing properties. Customers said it absorbs nicely and feels "smooth" on skin. Mixed feedback on scent strength - some enjoy long-lasting fragrance while others note it fades within hours. Some found scent doesn't match the soap version. Great value at the price point.

Very nice scent put not much longevity

The scent is true to the shaving soap. The moisturizer component is absorbed nicely by the skin although it does feel a bit oily initially. The longevity of the scent is not very long, being gone within an hour or two.

Smells Like Formaldehyde

Generic Stirling Post-Shave Balm Review:
These are pretty great. I enjoy the ritual of putting a little bit on after a shave and rubbing it in. I really scrub fairly vigorously and then gentler a few times until it is all spread and soaked, after which my face feels smooth (almost tacky as if it were freshly washed, in the best way).

Specific Scent Review:
I really do not enjoy the Baker Street scent in any of the products I got it in. It reminds me of formaldehyde in a very unpleasant way.

The aftershave balm is what I have co,e to expect from the Stirling Soap Company, soothing and nourishing to my skin with the baker street sent it is the perfect end to a shave.

Clean, Classy, Manly Scent

Man, Stirling keeps upping their game with their new scents. Baker Street is simply awesome. It's a complex, masculine scent that I can't really liken to anything else for comparison. All I can say is I tried it and instantly loved it. I got the aftershave splash and balm. They smell incredible and have staying power. Contrary to other reviews, my nose tells me the balm scent is well matched to the aftershave splash scent.

Great Balm, Very Faint Scent

I love the scent of Baker Street soap. I think that this balm does have the same scent but it is either very weak or it's being overpowered by the other ingredients. It works great for its moisturizing and skin conditioning properties but I do wish it smelled more like the soap. Maybe there's a reason why it doesn't?

Doesn't smell like the soap

I got the Baker Street soap and this balm. While I don't agree that the soap smells exactly like the Strop Shoppe version, it still smells good. The balm, however, does not smell like the soap that I got. The balm smells like most over the counter lotions with something sharp in it that stings the nostrils. Maybe I got a bad batch or something, but it doesn't mesh with the soap.

A Wonderful Balmy Day!

Although Stirling is primarily known for its wonderful shave soaps, its balms are wonderful, moisturizing and good for sensitive skin. This is the first unscented Stirling balm I have used, and happily I have no irritation from it. It has a pleasant, earthy fragrance with a hint of musk and citrus. Hard for me to describe, but I like it. It pairs nicely with floral and woodsy soaps. For $8.95, it is almost a steal. AOS balms cost $40-$50, and IMHO, aren't as good.

Excellent scent, excellent balm. A little goes a LONG way.

Scent is spot on with the original product. Balm is quite soothing, particularly if I get rushed and have less than a perfect shave. Paired with the soap and aftershave splash I can enjoy the fantastic Baker Street aroma all day long. 12 hours after using it this morning I can still easily smell the scent on my skin.

Clean scent, very refreshing

Like all Stirling products, you can't go wrong with this on. Though not my go to every day, it never lets me down.
