I found the Arkadia Post Shave Balm is soothing and has a great scent.

Very nice product. I'm new to wet shaving with a safety razor, so having a nice balm like this to apply afterwards is mandatory. I get almost instant relief after shaving, and my skin looks great the rest of the day. The Arkadia scent is also nice, although it could be stronger since you're mostly hit with the smell of the medicaments in the balm first. As it works into the skin and dries you get more of the Arkadia scent.

Hate to admit how many shave soaps I have tried in the past years. Found Stirling some seven years ago and couldn’t be happier. The soap quality is outstanding, the lather is thick and creamy, and with all the scents offered there is something for everyone.
As for Arkadia it’s a clean and refreshing scent, mild not overwhelming but just right. As the description says, “It's elegant”.

Love the scent. My favorite aftershave balm.

Works as advertised--light, non-greasy, easily absorbed--leaves skin feeling hydrated and smooth. The scent is light and pleasant--the description says "grassy," and I think that captures it best. It's light enough that it probably wouldn't interfere with any other aftershave or cologne you wanted to use, but it would definitely go well with other "earthy" scents.

Arkadia is my favorite stirling soap. Paired with the shave balm , it's a home run!!

I mainly bought this balm because it was the only other thing on this website that lists grapefruit in it's description. I was hoping to pair this with my stirling grapefruit scented shaving soap. I was a little disappointed that it didn't really smell like grapefruit or citrus at all. If it does, it's extremely subtle. It does have a slightly masculine smell, and it's really hard to describe what this smells like. There's a few things on the scent profile that I'm not sure i've ever smelled before so I'm going to assume this is what the prominent scent is that i'm smelling. This would include: Pelargonium (Geranium), Patchouli, Cedar, and Vetiver. Dont' get me wrong, this is a nice overall scent, and my wife loves how it smells on me. Outside of the fact that it doesn't smell like grapefruit or citrus, this is a really good balm. My face feels great after applying a small amount and the strength is quite strong, I'd say at least a 8 out of 10. It leaves my face feeling moisturized and protected for hours and hours. I will definitely stock up again on this stuff again.

Soothing balm, with a pleasant scent that is not over-bearing. Very nice.
